Yesterday it was not to be. It turns out I had the wrong night but thankfully it’s tonight! I’m so glad I’m still here. You may be wondering why I’m so sure he’ll be there?’ Well, I’m not, I’m just making an educated guess. I’ve done my research – I know he lives in a satelllite town near here, no address though, so that’s why I have to think more laterally. His friend is due on around eight so I think there is a possibility he may be there early to help set up or to have a few drinks before, and this time I know what I’m wearing. And I even have a few opening lines. I have to make a good impression and not scare him off. Not so easy I know, but I’ll give it a go. Fingers crossed he’s there.
